ABOUT WBPSC JE:
The Public Service Commission, West Bengal will hold a Combined Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior
Engineers (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) in West Bengal Sub-ordinate Service of Engineers (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) under the various
Departments, Directorates, other offices and establishments of Government of West Bengal. Online applications are hereby invited from
Indian Citizens and others declared eligible by Government of India for recruitment to the said posts. The rules of the examination and
other particulars are stated in the following paragraphs. A candidate should verify from these rules whether he/she is eligible for
admission to the examination. The conditions prescribed cannot be relaxed.
The examination will be held in the following branches of Engineering - i) Civil Engineering (ii) Mechanical Engineering (iii) Electrical
Engineering.
The Examination will be held in two successive parts, viz., (i) Written Examination (Multiple choice objective type questions) and (ii)
Interview

Essential Educational Qualification and experience, etc required for the
various posts are as follows:
Age Limit:
Not more than 36 years as on 01.01.2022 (i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 1986).
